Hi,
can anyone advise where i can buy the rubber trim that fits around the perimeter of my factory sunroof on my mk1 scirocco?
Is it the same as on most other vehicles?
Cheers

Factory fitted sunroof in a mk1 = uber-uber rare (only seen one on a blue storm any moons ago...)
I'd be sounding out webasto or other aftermarket companies for something that would fit.
Good luck

Cheers Ryan.
Didn't realise my sunroof was a rare thing, i must of took it for granted. It's deffo FF'd too, the person said it was imported many years ago and it still had speedo in kilometres when i first got it (still RHD though).
Thanks for the advice
Mal.

Unfortunately, i'm not actually sure, i researched which european countries drove on the left like us and think it was only a couple, Malta being one. it must have been given a fresh uk log book when it arrived. So it's a bit of a mystery, you could well be right.
I wonder if there's a search i could do on the chassis number or similar to find out it's complete history.
suggestions are most welcome, although presently i'm trying to get it back on the road first

The sunroof gasket will be the same as mk1 & 2 Golf and mk2 Scirocco if it is a factory sliding roof. A pic of the sunroof would confirm.
