Sills from VW Heritage

Post by snowbeluga »

Are these actually any good / the right ones...? It just seems too cheap / good to be true, y'know.

Obviously there is the corresponding right side, i just thought 70 bucks for a pair of sills was insanely cheap....

Any advice would be good because I may have to order some at the end of the month if so!

They are the ATP/Klokkerholm (sp?) pattern sills.

Pressings vary, but no where near as sharp as the VW sills. See my 'rocco grotto' thread in the projects section for fitment.

At that price you cant expect the same quailty as VW sills but if you get a good bodyshop to fit them (or you if your are good at that stuff) you should be able to replace yours. At the end of the day the sills are rarely seen unless you are an MOT man.

Yeah that's kind of what I was assuming, as in decent enough but not concours level, but that doesn't bother me.

Thanks for the pm dude, may take you up on that as the left one is the worst!

Cheers guys
