Where will I find one that will fit?
On Ebay they are down as MK2 Golf and MK2 Scirocco being the same, I know from using a MK2 gearbox before that they are different.
I tried the MK2 Golf GTi weighted shift and it looked too short.
Has any on bought one from Ebay, and did it work ??

Look at the Short Throw Shifter section on this page. You can make one yourself in a few mins without complicated tools.

Also have a look on here on this link kindly supplied by MacColl.

This is an alternative method.
The position of the sliding part determines the % of the adjustment.
Good luck.

Yes, you most likely have a mk3 Golf item which will fit a mk2 but not mk1/Scirocco.

Same as the one I got for mine, you need to keep an eye on the allen head bolt on the bottom of the relay shaft,as it can work itself loose over time, the standard one has a nut on the end
