Additional gauges, what size???

Quick question, of to a restoration show tomorrow and may get some additional gauges, so whats the best size to get to fit where the ashtray is 2" or 1.5"???

i know a few have added then in this location, the last thing i want to do is get 2" ones to find they wont fit!!!!!!

so any advice would be great :)

I fitted the 3 Audi gauges in the ashtray opening with a bit of work with a dremel to the centre console. The VDO gauges are 52mm if I remember correctly. Check out my post on this:
