Clutch cable

Could anyone confirm the part number on the bandit's clutch cable please as I want another one.

That part number is for chassis up to VIN code 53 F 060 000.
You might want part number 534721335 which is for chassis after VIN code 53 G 000 001
Measure the length of your existing cable, as the one on my GTX is approximately 1640mm long. I got it from GSF so don't know what its corresponding VW part number was.

Having changed a few clutch cables I know they are 1490mm for the DX engined cars. These are discontinued at the dealers now, I bought mine from ECP.
Before fitting pour some oil down the cable, stops it rusting from the inside, you can't beat a bit of lubrication!!!

Odd. Called ECP and they've stated it's thelonger of the two. Picking one up tomorrow, if it's wrong I shall return to the venue Vern in hand.
