soz for delay mr funk , dont know what to do ,my mechanic is saying he wants me to source him a new one oblivious to the cost , is there a way of knowing if it is faulty ...? tried to get her running properly myself and there seems to b so many things it could b. Ive fitted new injectors , blown fuel lines back wiv air, checked filler neck and tank best i can without droppin tank out ( looks like grief ) new plugs , oil , filters. It jus takes ages to start , doesnt like any pedal until proper warm then when u drive its spluttery unless u give it the full beans. Jus seems like bits in the fuel still ............ after i cleaned out metering head which had a load of crud in it an blew the lines threw it was a bit better , i dont know if im convincing myself this is still an easy fix even after all ive done already. Any suggestions would b much appriciated. Ben

You can check its electrical resistance, and that it is getting voltage - Haynes gives the value and procedure.
Also, if you have not done it, you should check the fuel system for correct pressures and flow.

I don't run a Wur on mine at the moment. Got to be honest it starts first time every time regardless of the weather. Takes a few minutes to get running properly mind.
Think your best betbisnto take Petes advise. He's an utter Jedi when it comes to this sort of thing and you don't want to be paying out for stuff if you don't need it
