You can get the downpipe gaskets for a few quid from Euro Car Parts, it is also worthwhile changing the clamps as well for the few quid they cost as well. A lot less hassle than EBay IMHO!

GSF also used to sell them. I found went I thought my Gasket had blown it was infact a hole between the two exhaust pipes not the gasket.

You can check where the hole/leak is by using a bit of garden hose holding it to your ear and moving the other end where the noise is coming from. Be carefully not to touch the hot exhauts with the hose or it might melt!

Might be worth a check?

As with all things the C clips are easy to take off/put back on if you have the right tool. I think there is something about this in the FAQ.

word of warning make sure you get the compressed wire wool type gasket. these deform to the shape of your manifold and do a much better job at sealing than the solid metal type which i tried and it didnt work!!! much to my annoyance as them c clips are a pain to get off!!!

I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!
