did a fair bit on the car today. hoping to take the coils off this week then get the car sitting on the new wheels. syked!

I really can't wait to see this after its overhaul.

What shows are you planning to take it to?

iv been real busy over the last few weeks, so haven't had chance to do any work on the car.

its a bit early to be trying the wheels. but means iv had them for so long. i give in.
the wheels are, ronal racing centers, with custom outer barrels made and finished by rotiform.
7-15inch all around with staggered offsets.
the car is stinking and full of dust,and missing loads of trim/parts so try and look past tha haha

i know the car needs to go lower. but it is fully maxed out on the coils. so looks like im going to have to get air??
im on the look out for.center caps.. chrome star fuel cap. and chrome flag mirror, drivers side. hook me up!!!

This looks lovely great work with the body work , engine , wheels etc it looks much better since i last looked on hear, fair play to you getting her back to really looking great and nice.

The wheels are excellent, really suit the car as they are pleasantly 'old' and NOT bbs's
If you do go down the air route let me know as I'm going to have it on mine. Andrew at open road tuning in the states is well worth talking to, he's well helpful and the exchange rate is very helpful at the mo
I'm going for acuair e level management and bagyard struts, but from looking at it on the rotating jig I think it's going to need a fair bit of 'messing' to get it sit really low!
Yours does sit nice, don't know what it is about it, but to me it looks like a car from the USA ( which is good)

got it to turn over on the weekend, just need some new ht leads. and charge the battery up..
then i hope it will be running

well best update as ajay has fallen behind.
we had the car up and running but then snapped a bolt in the side of the head after a few satardays of fiddleing the only option was to remove the head. this was the begining of the year, with his and my work and pass times leaving a odd day ever month free things werent really getting any where. so bank holiday monday we loaded it on a trailer and dragged it to my house to save me travelling to his.

the plan was get the repaired head on and mot it. but now its here i started a few other bit to.
frist was move the coil and tidy the loom in the engine bay.



the wiring for the engine sensor's is now routed down around the front and under the rad.


also made a bobbin to mount the live wire's from the the battery, means there just one live and one earth lead just to tidy ever thing

next is strip the master cylinder to replace it with some thing a bit bigger the old one is looking a bit ropey

Looks good - I'm planning on some bay tidying later in the summer

Regarding the master cylinder, just bear in mind any "uprated" one will only have 4 outlets. You'll either have to get creative with T-pieces to plumb in the brake light switches or make a brake pedal mounted switch.
