No pics on todays update, as it was all pretty run of the mill boring stuff. Got the car started, let some fresh fuel run through the system for 20 mins or so, then changed the fuel filter. Also did the engine oil and filter, new plugs and cleaned the K&N air filter. Refitted the plastic liner under the drivers front wing and gave the fuel pipes a couple of coats of spray underseal.
There appears to be a slight leak from the radiator, so im gonna change it next week along with the heater valve, as its sticking and difficult to operate. Its also a good excuse to flush the cooling system and put in new antifreeze ready for winter.
Once thats done, hopefully its just going to be a case of bedding in the brakes, fitting the new wiper blades ( i want to paint the arms first as theyre a bit tatty) and then off for MOT.

I was running Sebring alloys on my car before I sold it Mark, they actually look pretty good. i think they'll particularly suit the red bodywork.
You selling this when you're done? or is this the new daily?

A few more odds and sods sorted today, changed some duff bulbs in the rear lights, the front and rear fogs dont work, which i think is just down to a blown fuse. I put a coolant flush in the reservoir and let it run for a while, then drained the system and flushed it through with clean water, loads of crap came out of it !! The slider for the hot and cold control for the heater was very stiff to operate, i checked the valve under the bonnet, but it was fine. Turns out that at some time the control cable had come out of its clip on the slider mechanism and had got badly kinked up. So i had to take out the centre console to remedy this.
I painted the radiator fan cowling before building the new rad up to go in the car.
Then refitted it, put in fresh anti-freeze and ran the engine up to temparature to make sure the fan kicked in. Everything works as it should.
I've always liked the look of the coolant reservoir and washer bottle painted black, as i know some folk on here have done, so i did the reservoir before it was refitted. I'l do the washer bottle tomorrow, along with the rocker cover.
Looking forward to getting stuck in again tomorrow.
