WHEEL UPDATE

The Lotus alloys arrived this morning, and i quickly measured them...
The wheels are et 16.3mm, and the hub adapters are 20mm = et -3.7mm on the car!
Now then. This uber low offset will work great on the rear, making these 7's sit exactly the same as the 8" splits (with 5mm spacer) did in the arch.
On the front, i'll end up with 5mm more poke than the 8's, Which isn't do-able
Unless i can find a pair of 15mm bolt on adapters, i'm screwed on the fronts

Could you get a pair of custom adapters made up?

Absolutely love your car. Ahh shame bout the fitting on the front. What pcd are they? You know of any other wheels with a similar style, as they are just beauts.

Cheers dude :beers: It's been in bits for sooooooooo long, but it's all starting to come together now. Just one door, the roof, and tailgate left to paint... Then the bodywork is done :yahoo:
The Lotus wheels are 4x114.3 PCD, which isn't a problem in itself. The problem lies with the offset and having to use the Lotus Elite/Eclat wheel nuts (old whitworth thread). Most adapters are threaded for the use of wheel bolts. I need the type that have studs (with the same pain in the arse thread) for mounting the wheel to the adapter
They are a cool looking wheel, and look similar to the old skool compomotive splits and schmidt TH line's. Starting to prep them for their fresh covering of atlas grey later today.

Progress was been REALLY slow since my last update due to a huge workload... 12hr days, 6 days a week FTW :help:
I managed to find time to snap a couple of piccies though. First time it's seen daylight for months!!

I also took some pics nose-to-nose with my red Scala, just to show the height difference
