All wrapped up
Sorted my front wheel camber today and worked out why it struggles when cold. Cold start valve seems to be blocked. Any idea if it can be cleaned? Got power and fuel pressure just doesn't spray. All the other bits, wur, aux air extra are all fine.
Also fitted my door bodykit and karmann badges to the b-pillars.
Everything is finished and I don't know how to feel about it! Just need and mot, tracking and replace cold start valve.

fitted the storm badge. need to sort some paint, but can't decide if to do it to match the wheels or original colour. thoughts?
sorry about the scruffyness of it all. for some reason the back to black stuff doesn't seem to be making the grill that black, its like its been waxed or something preventing it soaking in. I may just paint the whole thing black and be done with it.

Well done my friend looks so Fresh, Def and Dope.I can see you have really put your hard work in on this project.Sally has this problem of running as the rev counter drops under 1 when I put my foot down in her.Put in Esso petrol with optimax sometimes to clear out injectors. All so our mechanic looked at her back last year could not work it out.He said try a tuning place so I went to Castle Combe Garage he wanted £300.00 to tune her Paul there. So our mechanic sold me some injector cleaner which I put in the tank sorted out for about 3 weeks but the problem is back with her.
We have a 2 liter 16v throttle body to be fitted to her with the 16v W.U.R this might sort it out I do not know.
Peace for now G Beats check me out here

cheers mate. it has been a fair bit!!
i took some snaps as the sun was out. non do it justice really as they are taken on my phone!
glass roof and i've not even polished it properly yet!
shiny sides
and a shiny bonnet
decent photo of the interior.
and the dash
side. looks dull in this pic!
shiny again
grill with the colour matched storm badge
headlining
thats all. driving to the mot has thrown up a couple of jobs and a couple of bit they noticed. very very slight movement in rear wheel bearings, perfectly fine, but worth nipping up. a braided brke line is resting on a rubber fuel hose which i need to sort. the speedo has given up and i suspect its behind the dash thats the issue. nsf suspension top mount has a tiny amount of movement in it.
and worst of all, all 4 arches rub like a bitch! so need to cut more away....
am relieved i still have some jobs to do on it :)

so i have spoken to the bodyshop about a couple of bits i'm not 100% happy with. 'Drop it in, we'll sort it out' was pretty much what they said. very pleased as was worried they may make excuses or something.
I also fixed all the bits that were noted as the mot so all good.
get tax tomorrow and then i can drive her once the weathers gets better!
nothing else to report. it will most likely be a bit quiet now too
