I ran into Jim Morris last night - he supplied me with an album full of pics of the car's build and a few race shots. I'll get them on the scanner tonight.

So that I can get at the cars to work on them (I'm bolting suspension back on the cars so I can move them), I've started bringing parts of them back to my barn/workshop from the seller's place, to make room for all the other stuff that's in and around them, and hopefully so we can find the parts we need to put them back together...

A couple of standard sets of seats, plus the bucket seats the seller had with it.

Tomorrow's job is to build some shelves, then I'm back down to the cars on Sunday.

Looks like a proper build back in the day - i'm particularly loving the paint spraying with no mask or goggles! :shocking:

Amazing how many folks did it like that back then though.

One of the guys that got me into customising back in the Eighties was always spraying something or other like that, but he paid the price for it years later. :crying:

Protective Clothing: Wooly hat.

I remember years ago, a mate of my dads, who painted trucks for a living, ended up in hospital. He'd been spraying lorries with 2-pack for years, with no mask. 2-Pack has (or had, not sure if it still does) arsenic in it.

I've got more pics to come from this album, and Jim reckons there's another album somewhere, of racing shots.

It also contains cyanide i belive...
Celliose all the way.

On another note any info on what brake master set up he used ? looks like the master is over on the drivers side and servo on the passenger.....

Good spot on the brakes. I hadn't noticed that. I'll ask Jim the next time I see him.

If the regs allow, I'd be looking to run without a servo and linkage bar.

Double MC setup.. so master into slave on the servo, that powers another master? Presumably to remove the sloppiness in hte linkage bar. Seen it on a coupla minis in the 80's... it was all rather fashionable!! (although why is an obvious question!)

Unless of course it's hydraulic clutch as well...
