Yeah passenger door is still on there. Its pretty good condition as I remember (for a mk1 Scirocco!) its been against that wall for a few years so I'd need to check :)

The only bumpers I have aren't straight.

Sounds worth a look then - can you let me know when you've checked it over and PM me a price for it. I don't need the glass or trim, but if you want rid of all of it, then either way could work.

Also, what's the Pax rear quarter like?

The usual corrosion around the arch, but otherwise OK.

If you chop it up I need a complete roof please and the passenger floor pan would be very handy.

No, I've got a 2 year project to build a classic touring car (an homage to John Morris's car from the 1980 season). The pass door is scruffy, and If you've still got the early passenger front wing I'll have that too (based on the updates in your 'breaking' ad).

Did you buy your base car off Brad?

Hey - sorry for the slow reply. It was from a guy called John in Maidenhead. Bought two shells - about 1.7 cars in total! I cut up the rotten one and I'm rebuilding the better one - eventually!

Did you get my PMs about your Mk1 bits?

Hey guys its taken me 6 months to get this shell out of storage, buts its now in my unit ready for stripping.

Image

I've found that I have a couple of NOS chrome bumpers I can sell.

Also dash undertrays (inc the cardboard/hardboard pieces)

A pair of NOS Kamei front mudguards/spats

A pair of Scirocco specific Empi chrome window rain guards (never seen these on anything other than a aircooled VW)

A metal fuel filler cap..currently black, ideal for chroming..

At some point this week I'll try and photograph the bits and pieces and put seperate ads up..

Ah, well that answers some of my PM questions. Didn't realise you'd posted a pic, but more would be handy.

The door doesn't look bad.
