It's nonsense, is what it is. Although, if the mileage is genuine, there aren't (m)any comparable cars. I can't remember a mk.2, even a Storm, selling for more than £3000.

I would really like that car but two things put me off -

1 the price

2 The owner. If his grammar and spelling are any thing to go by he's not going to be very articulate and therefore not an easy person to deal with.

I find it hard to believe he's the original owner of the car, the youngest he could be (if he purchased the car when 17) is 43, he would have benefited from proper schooling at that age. He also doesn't appear to know much about it, suspicious innit?

Oh, he also says I may ask him 'any question'.
I wonder if he could explain women to me?

Lol. Does make you wonder. Even to fully restore with a full engine rebuild and respray fitted with every new part possible wouldnt touch 12k. Just an obvious amatuer when it comes to classic cars
