Its injecion so you wont be using paper filters. Theres a small filter on the bottom of the fuel pick up pipe in the tank, and there should be a small gauze filter on the inlet end of the main fuel pump and then obviously the large one under the bonnet.whiteshark wrote:Take your fuel floater / sender out of the tank, it is located under the rear seat. At the bottom of this unit is a small rubber filter with tiny holes. If there is any dirt in your tank it will cut the fuel. Cut the small rubber filter off with a knife. Make sure a new paper fuel filter is installed under the bonnet before you proceed, just before the fuel diffuser. This will allow suction fron the tank, you can see if fuels getting drawn from the tank, plus any crap in the tank will be sucked up and will rest in the paper filler.These are pretty cheap from GSF. If that does not work, start going down the route, fuel diffuser, pump ect. I'm not a mechanic but it worked for me after several months of engine running fine then stalling for no reason.
