Here is the number on the relay from VW.

With this number you can get it at your local Dealer.

443 951 307B

In total this is what it says on the relay:

Hella 12V VW Audi (4rings)
3SB
004 885 - 02
Made in Germany
443951307B
Place this in position 7 = bottom left on fuse box and :yahoo:

Good luck with it.

Greets, Joost

i put a repeater light on the dash in my old polo so I had an infuriating green light shining in my face all the time the lights were on... never forgot to switch them off after that though!!!

Reckon a lot of people need to know about this relay before they're reduced to doing similar silly things...

Changed my 19 for a 99 in the rocco and that's definately the way forwards :chill:

OK...

Went up to my friendly neighbourhood Volkswagen dealer this afternoon and gave them this number. After much mumbling they told me that it was an Audi number and that the only way they could get it was straight from the factory which would take 12 weeks!

He may have been offended by my laughing.

I'm going to check online and see if I can find anything. Will post if I find a decent link.

Hello everyone,

I will take a look at work tomorow what the cost will be for the relay.

Maybe if more of you want one I can make you an offer with shipping them all at once to the UK.

Greets, Joost

I've just bought a number 36 relay on ebay, so if it works I'll let you all know!

I've got relay number 36 - but slot 7 in my fuse box has my intermittent washwipe relay (19) in it. Is there another rleay slot i can use to put the buzzer one in?

Hey guy,

Got a 292 relay on Ebay and have just fitted it to my Rocco. Went straight into position 7 (bottom left) as you all said and now works fantastically. I am thoroughly chuffed.

Seems a rather large oversight from VW of old, but who am I to judge.

Thanks guys
