Re: VW Reiger Scirocco GTO
What engine did these come with?
I can imagine it all being a bit of an anti-climax to open the bonnet up to a measly 8v found in most othere Sciroccos...

First time I hear that Geoff has sold his WhitecatRick84 wrote:Yeh, I have a magazine with it back in the day in all it's glory. I spoke to Ant and Sean at the national meet and they remembered it.Mr Funk wrote:That's going back a bit. That car was a bit of a legend back in its dayRick84 wrote:I have that exact kit laying unfitted in my garage. It came with a 2.0 16v 9a rocco I bought on here known as "WhiteCat", was owned by a bloke call Geoff or "The Reverend". The car hasn't been on the road for 4 years though! Hope to get it up and running with the kit on eventually.

The mag that Geoff's car was featured in was the last ever copy of the rather decent VW mag called VWM. Shots were taken at the Chester Race course where the Diva Dubs event took place back then (still does, but back then I also attended with my Rieger Mk1, and won 1st prize in category Roccos).
