I had a look at the sus arms just there and they are a little over level (a tiny bit higher than level in sus height )

So fingers crossed all is well and it will settle in. I am. amazed how low these cars can go on warn out suspension haha

I have the funds and polybushes already so its rear end next :)

Thank You for all the help everyone, Its nice to see a community forum still going thats so helpful :) Reminds me of the corrado forum.

Ill post some pictures of my work now :)

The rack still has to go on but its nice to see the front end all new... minus the shocker bodies which didn't come up too well sadly.

The arb bracket had a free turning bolt too and i had no welder or brazing rods to hand. I used superglue and cotton to make a repair patch and it held up excellent when tightening the bushes up. Cotton soaked in superglue makes a brilliant temporary bonding agent so stopped the head turning nicely on a smooth and clean thread :)

Another thought.... If you used standard length bump stops you could be sitting on the bump stops?

When I lowered mine I cut out the middle bit of the bump stop and glued it back together so I could still fit the plastic dust cover.

Original spring next to lowering Boge spring

You can see the amount I cut from the bump stop, I’ve placed it in the spring for the picture.

It's still sitting higher than level at the moment so i may well loosen the arm bolts and see if it drops at all too.

Just got to order the rear end now and get to it :)

That's a very good shout i had never considered bud :-D

Im going to do the rear end next week and well see how level she sits.

I had the rack done in the garage yesterday and the tracking was out by a nautical mile. The camber and toe came in fine but im. sure the castor was a tiny bit out and wouldn't come in 100%.

Either way it drives fantastic now and i feel. comfortable actually throwing it around in the bends at long last 8-)

Mines looks higher at the front too, strangely enough. No handling issues and never given me cause for concern.

Mine was the same in the old coils and i swapped out for pre set ones from scappys storm. The originals wrre raked because the sump scraped, the weight of the engine tilting back lifted the front
