Someone also seems to be very proud of their Kwik fit cheapo Arrow speed tyres by painting the name in white, we are going back to the 80's :-)

Asking prices have shot up but checking sold listings on ebay shows most are still in the hundreds with the odd one nearing £1500.

Yes, and this car has been on sale at that price for a long time now.

lol saw an auto on Cars and Classics recently for £4k!!!!!!!! now that's expensive

My '88 Scala auto was just written off, and we got a £2000 pay out from the insurers (their first offer) so somebody thinks they're worth that...

Sorry to hear this - although Im sure the 60k mileage helped..
