Hi all!
The other thing to consider with the 'inner' parts of the plastic bumper ,is for some reason VW turned them upside down when the mounted them with the plastic cover, also if memory serves me well :scratch: I don't remember them having the recess ( where the rub strip sits ) in the face of the bumper
I guess if you were good at welding it's an option, but if you are going for painted, then taking a mould and making some up in glass or carbon would be better?

for what its worth, i'm playing a lot with making parts now as i'm doing a line in cafe racer seat units.

wil be making some moulds for scroc bumpers in the near future to make both grp and carbon ones.

will post up when done to get an opinion.
