Not sure if you've seen this post Sandy ...

Maybe once they get a chance to do the update your problems will be solved although like Sean says they do have to fit these things into their 'real lives' ...

:beers:

Hi Cpt,
Yes I spotted it when I came back on after tea.
There has been other users having problems and a thread for this will help to bring them all together and to the notice of everyone.
I can appreciate all the work that goes into the running of the site and do not expect instant answers as many have real jobs to do.
Sometimes someone else has had the same problem and a little message on here can help solve it.
I'm sure that many members will agree that the organisers do exceptionally well considering it is all voluntary.
Having this thread should make life a bit easier for them.
Well done all. :good: :good: :good:

Been having trouble today editing existing posts like the Thread Finder in Diary Dates.

I make the changes and it previews fine, but when I try to submit the message I get ...

General Error

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Incorrect string value: '\xC5\xB7n Pe...' for column 'log_data' at row 1 [1366]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

I'm having trouble sending PM's..

I write the PM, click submit as usual, but instead of sending to the recipient, it gets saved into my outbox? I have space available in my sent messages folder, and I have space available in my inbox (although that shouldnt affect it?)

Am I just being really unlucky and sending messages to people that have all got full inboxes?!

That is normal. It will disappear from your Outbox, and show up in your Sent box, when the recipient opens it to read it.
