Looks ace :good:

......... Think I'm in a very major minority that would put the fogs back on. Doesn't matter how good they work as I never use them... Just like the old school cool look.

Thanks Dutch. Old school is definitely cool. After all, ugly as they may be, those fog lights are a part of the car's original facial features. Think I agree with the rev on his earlier post. If it were a standard looking GTII they'd deffo look right if they were to be put back on!

MrGarf, I'd certainly consider Clifford :)

I wouldn't say they are useless, I always appreciate having them when I've used them, being able to see the sides of an unmarked road in the haar is much better than not.

An afterthought? Definitely.

I typically take them off during the show season (because cleaning bugs off the valance is a royal pain with them on) and then put them back on over autumn/winter. It's at most a half hour job twice a year.

I love my Fogs! As has been mentioned, they are part of the cars 'face' and make it more instantly recognisable...but the biggest perk for me is seeing the verges of unlit roads - they make your field of view SOOO much wider, like going from a 300mm telephoto zoom to a 6mm fisheye - and of course the more you can see the safer you are!!

Also, I think the front of the car, in the dark, looks much better with sides, fogs and mains ablaze - not too disimilar to a rally car on a night stage (in my imagination! lol!)

do I really want a carb'd valver? answers on a postcard...

Just refurbed mine as one was a fog and the other was a driving light so no more wonkyness!.

As he had them fitted from new they are to remain besides I like them

Where I live in the country they are useful at night to see the road edges.

Must clean the inner headlights are they are getting a bit misty inside!

Of course mate, when it stops raining :) I didn't do anything special - essentially just made an L-shaped bracket (think my mate welded it for me) and drilled some holes in the air vent below the bumper in order to bolt the brackets on.
