mk1 gear leave gaitor - frame dimensions

Post by GTXTRA »

Hi,

odd one perhaps but if anybody has access to a frame that the gear lever gaitor fits around please can they stick up the measurements?

i've bought two off ebay but they are too small for the mk2 gaitor frame, they are same size as mk1 golf.

before i send both back i'd like to see if one of them fits the mk1 scirocco gaitor frame.

cheers in advance.

These are measurements with the gaiter still on. As you know the shape is a trapezoid but with the corners rounded off - this makes an accurate measurement difficult. So, approximately, it's 105mm x 105mm x 104mm x 107mm. HTH
