Front ARB brackets...

Post by Beddo88 »

Hi all,

Anyone any idea if these brackets will fit the front ARB on a mk2 scirocco? I know this and the mk1 golf share alot, and they look similar but just want ot check before buying!

Mk2 scirocco brackets?

May have sheared one & bent one removing them!

Cheers,
Dan

99% sure yes they are the ones you want, not exactly freely available. I made my own on my last Rocco to save money which in hindsight were a bit thin but did the job..

Interestingly, even with €26 shipping, it only comes to £3 more than if I bought two through Heritage. Might have to check what else VW have got original! :)

Cheers DT1.. excellent spot!

€26 shipping? The shipping on my last delivery was a lot less than that and it included a rocker cover.

Try this http://www.vw-classicparts.de/bestand/index_e.html and plug in the part number.

When you've finished it generates an e-mail and they send you a quote in english.

Is that light at the end of the tunnel or a train coming the other way?

The Crazy Quiff ones are stainless too, £28 for a pair, including postage.
Nice find, I might get some of those myself.

Doh... bought a pair from VW heritage. Came to about 31 with postage. Not sure if they are stainless or not thought, I suspect not.

Rubbish! Ah well.. live and learn :)
