Track rod ends

Post by PhilJ »

Just fitted some coilovers, went to do the track rod ends on the storm, and one side is pressed onto the arm? Euro wrong parts gave me both ends with threads... Does the whole arm have to be replaced on that side?

if you have both arms with new track rods i would strongly recommend you fit them. It makes the tracking easier to do.

I got 2 ends, was going to do the lot, but saw one side needed the whole arm replacing. Should have looked before trusting euro bastard parts

Original near side track rod had the fixed end, but these were never supplied as replacements. If the track rod end goes on the fixed arm, you have to replace the whole track rod arm and fit a new threaded track rod end.
