Hi,
Currently trying to put my interior back in my mk1 scirocco after a lengthy spell off the road. Being totally disorganised, i haven't got a clue what screws go where, so when i was trying to fit my centre console i cant seem to locate what screw to use (gear stick end of console) and the hole which secures it to the car, can't see a hole in the floor pan? See pics...
Also, anyone know what size screws to fit in two holes near top of console?
Lastly found a few of those rubber covers, see pic, anyone know what it covers?

Re: What screws do i need ??
The single screw at the rear should be 4.8x55 self tapper.
There is also a support sleeve that goes between the console and the tunnel.
The other 2 screws are 4.2x19 and countersunk. Etka shows a cap to cover them, but no mk1 Ive ever had has had them

Thanks for the screw details, I'll try and purchase some now I know the correct size, great help.
Thanks also for the rubber cover suggestion, I'll look into it through the week.
Much appreciated

Those rubber covers fit on tabs on the back of the instrument panel, they stop it rattling around and locate it before the single screw holds it in place.
Re: What screws do i need ??
I had a feeling they were dash related but could never think of exactly what part.
Thanks alot for that, ill pop the clocks back out at the weekend!!
Cheers

You may still be able to get the screws from the dealer. The part numbers are:
