Am I missing something here? There doesnt seem to be any way to adjust the door position front/rear?
Gap at the back of the door is huge, and the door is touching the wing when partly open, but the way the doors mount means they cant be adjusted?

Re: Mk1 Door Gaps?
how much welding has your car had in the past?
Re: Mk1 Door Gaps?
Sill on the drivers side, rear arches, inner wing tops.
None on the A or B pillars, or sill on the side with the big gap at the back though, which is the passenger side
Randomly... the original door for the drivers side fits perfectly (although its rotten!) the solid replacement door I drove all the way to Holland for doesnt line up with the sill.
I'd almost convinced myself that the doors were lined up then the hinges tacked in place on the assembly line... but that cant be because the passenger door is the original... and im certain it wasnt like that when the car was last on the road (about 12 years ago!)
so, i'm not missing anything, there is no adjustment on the door position?
