V 2.0 of the 16V Reshell

Post by jbo »

Hi All,

After literally years of my life building my car and getting it to where she is (was), I had a bit of a run in with a yellow bus on the way to work. To make matter worse I forgot to send the insurance company signed agreed valuation form!? A very expensive lesson indeed.

I have bought another shell in the same colour which only has damaged to the doors will obviusly be swapped over. The crashed shell was in incredible condition with zero rust anywhere including under the car. The new one isn't show winning but it's not bad either.

Here are a few pics of my car post bus!

So my plan for this weekend is to move EVERYTHING over to the new shell.

Cheers fella! I plan to do it all myself bar the poly bushing. I'll get the guy who built the previous car to do that as I don't have a ramp.

Lot's of pics will follow!
