Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help me? I too have the pierburg carb and my car does start but will not tick over until the engine has warmed up. Read plenty of theories about the auto choke so I have taken the filter off followed all the steps to make sure the butterfly valve opens and closes and that the the metalic spring is still attached etc. However she still runs rough and smokey until she gets up to normal running temp!
Can anyone help?
P.s also considering a auto to manual gearbox conversion.... any pointers?

Re: 1991 GT2 fuel issue
I had that exact problem. So i cured it by throwing the peirburg carb in the bin and put a weber 32/34 carb in its place. But mine has a few more problems than the carb lol
