Indicator preference - smoked, clear, or orange?

Post by chadwick »

The Rocco been having her full botox facelift this month. I need to replace the front indicator after our little 'bump' a few months ago. What do you think... smoked, clear or orange?

My GTII is also Flash Red. I'm not keen on the orange next to the red. I'm thinking of going for clear at some point, but smoked (provided not too dark) would probably be alright too.

On the other hand my GT is Helios blue and I love the orange with the blue paint.

I think the smoked ones look good. I also made a set of red ones for my grey rocco that I sold to junglist. He was going to put some pics up of them on his red gt2 but I dont think hes gotten round to it yet.

I think it would look good with either smoked, clear or red

Yeah, I'll get the pics up soon I promise! Soon as I get the red side repeaters!

The red looks ace with red paint. Much MUCH cheaper than buying clear ones. They're just amber ones spray tinted. You can find smoked ones a bit cheaper than clear ones second hand but I don't reckon smoked would work with red paint unless you tinted the headlights a bit darkwr and got smoked sides and rears too.

The red suits mine because it makes the headlights line up with the fog lights, especially with the grille spoiler fitted, so it looks tidy from the front. Would be even better with a wider high-beam-less grille I reckon. If I didn't have fogs though, I'd want clear indicators and normal grille, but they'r SO expensive. That's why I opted to fit some fogs and Bluestreak's red ones instead.

Capiche?

Have fun. Let us know what you choose. :good:
