In the CL I have lapstrap style belts for the rear passengers on either side, but no belt at all for a central passenger. Now my car is an 83 and I know rear seatbelts weren't compulsory in this country until 87 so I'm wondering if they were fitted as an optional extra? I've seen some Mk2 Roccos with 3 point harnesses in the rear too but I'm unnsure as to wether they're original aswell.. Can anyone shed any light on this? The reason I'm thinking/asking is because I've only taken a rear passenger once in the time I've had the car, there aint much legroom in the back of a Mk2, but there's even less when both the front passengers are 6 foot plus!
cheers :D

No, they're standard. Later cars gained 3-point belts in some instances.

As Mr Funk says, there are only fittings for 2 lap seatbelts as standard.

There's sometimes a middle belt. Not really a middle seat as such, but...Mr Funk wrote:Aren't roccos four seater?
