tofee wheel is best but be careful not to burn the paint. but if you have some white spirit or panael wipe dapen a cloth with it (not soaking just damp) and leave over the area for 5 mins then wipe the glue gunge off with a clean rag.

When removing the adhesive that holds the underbonnet soundproofing in place, as an alternative to white spirits, I ended up buying this stuff from Screwfix, which worked a treat …

Out of interest what technique/materials did you employ to get the bump strips off?

:beers:

When i removed mine on the replacement door, i used the otherhalfs heat gun (hair dryer) to warm the glu up, then once the end was lifted i directed the heat under and slowly lifted and worked down the door, it removed most og the glue as well.

The front half of the trim was hanging off. i guess due to laying around.
Just gave it a light tug and it fell off in my hands.
I might give that stuff ago chap.

diesel normally does the job nicely. you will obviously need to de-grease the panel afterwards

Went really well matey.
I used white spirit in the end. Soaked it on then gave it a rub with a dampened cloth again in white spirit.

Tiger seal has done the job blinking well but really a extra pair of hands when re-fitting the arches would of come in handy!
