rear bumper

Post by porkymcchop »

another year, another rear end shunt from a transit. sigh.
aside from possibly a neon re-spray to increase my visibility to van driving mothertruckers, im also going to need a new rear bumper.
does anyone know if you can still get these new? claiming off the ins, so going to be a real PIA sorting it out if they dont. gah.

391 Euro from VW Classic Parts.

There used to be a "How To" on a now defunct Scirocco website about a quad brake light set-up. It involved converting the tail-lights to dual filament and adding in a relay. Add in a set of ultra bright LEDs and they'll see you brake even if their eyes are closed.

I fitted LED's to the Storm for just that reason - they're well bright like.

Hope you get it sorted soon.
