Does anyone have any advise on removing pins from electrical connectors. Got myself an "extraction set" and all it seems to have done is remove cash from my wallet.
Cheers

Re: Removing pins
Which extraction set and which connectors?
You use an appropriate tool from the extractor set to squash and release the locking tab on the terminal, so that the terminal then slides out of the connector.

Re: Removing pins
Push the wire towards the connector to try and relieve the tension on the lock tab, push appropriate blade of release tool into where the lock tab is and slide out.
Sounds easy, rarely is. I've got about an 80% success rate. The round ones in the fuse box are the worst. Patience and a lot of swearing / magic incantations seems to help for me.
