hi all,
as above is it possible to fit a mk1 rocko steering wheel to the mk2?
i quite like the look of the early type wheel.

Around the mid 80's a collar was added making the steering wheels big spline. If you have an early Mk2 then you'll soon know because it will simply fit. However from speaking to folks on here you can remove the collar on later cars with a puller or other method and fit the smaller spline wheel.
I remember however having an nightmare with an early Polo fighting with a spring and circlip that made things a total nightmare. I do believe though that you shouldn't have any issues with the Scirocco once you manage to get the collar off. I want to fit an earlier four button press wheel because I don't like the later style.

Yes, they will fit Mk2 Sciroccos up to about 89/90 when they had bigger spline steering wheels fitted. My 89 Scala has a small spline whee.

The horn button is in the centre mate.
