Hi
does anyone know the power level at the number plate lights, I measured it today as 1.5Volts is this correct?

They are 12 volts, do you mean the wattage?

no, both have stopped working I have replacement bulbs, but they dont work, so checked the Voltage at source and got 0.15V dc, so there must be a issue on the wiring some where, any other ideas as where to look?

Maybe obvious but have you checked the fuse? The numberplate bulbs should be rated 12v 5w.

Hi Thanks for the help, the Fuse was fine, after checking the wiring for an hour found the earth cable has broken somewhere along the length of cable so to make life easier I took the earth direct from the rear windscreen wiper and hey presto it works, now all I have to do is find some replacement lense covers as the old screws had rusted in and I broke the lenses get the screws out, lol

do you know if the MK1 Golf lenses will fit? or are they available from the dealers still?

GSF sell them (or at least they did when I replaced the one's on my Scala).

I bought the lenses, screws and bulb holders from the dealers a couple of years ago.
