Dark blue GTX? i think ths same car passed me, still M1 north just before J28.
Looked tidy, there may have been a slight amount of manic waving from both cars as he passed me!
Following on from GTEXTRA on Jan 22, I *think* I saw the same VYP reg MK1 on the Old Kent Road this afternoon.
As always, I spotted another rocco when I wasn't driving my own, but coincidentally today there were 5 of us in a car, discussing what sort of thing we did in our spare time, so I was able to point out of the window and say "THAT!".
Happy days.
1989 Bog standard MkII GT - and it makes me very happy!
Saw the X-reg silver GL I have occasionally spotted near my flat this morning, so like the sad bugger I am decided to walk round to the driver's side while the car was sitting in traffic and speak to the owner.
he was in his mid-50s and was Polish or somesuch - hard to tell.
'I like your Scirocco.'
'Uh?'
'I like your Scirocco. I used to have one.'
'You wanna buy?'
'I'd love to, if I had the money.'
'Well you can no have it.'
And off he motored, shouting 'I no sell for five thousand' at me.
the guy loves his car....all credit to him. Did twig that it had 15" Le Castellets on it, which don;t suit a non-kit car, and the later GTii/Scala style steering wheel. Heresy!
Light red Mk2 with bodykit not sure of exact model, Saturday 18 Feb heading north on A503 Seven Sisters road between A107 Amhurst Park and B152 St Ann's road at about 11.30am.

Registration E20 ???
I think i saw this car today as well. I'm in Kilburn. The amount of Roccos i've seen right outside my house, for there 'twas spotted, has increased to five. It was a dull Paprika red GT, E reg, with black bodykit and middle-aged eastern Asian woman driving it. She didn't exactly look like the sort of person who would use Rocco forums. She struck me as probably driving it because it was a cheap and available runaround, rather than because she's any sort of enthusiast. But you never know...
As I was goggling the car a brown mk1 golf passed in the opposite direction too. I was rather pleased.
spotted a silver/gold scirocco on the M4o heading north just after 11 for Banbury Thursday 1st March at 10:30am nice looking car, Reg H813 JDD was in my vectra so did not wave
