As in a retro fit blade - or custom set-up?

I was always tempted, but I don't like the look of the retro fit ones as they sit the arm up too high and have a big 'block' of plastic that looks out of place.

I looked at various options for a custom job but it was gonna be a case of metal work to join the mk1 arm to the doner, and I had other things higher up the list.

BTW - I looked at so many, the best match I came up with was a rear (fronts always seemed too chuncky for my eye) focus arm and blade - but that was orientated wrongly for RHD...

i've used the tesco own aero blades that will fit anything. better screen clearing waaaaaaaaaaaay outweighs the annoying block where they clip on

+1 I have used those, they are cheap & cheeful, I thought mine worked better than a traditional 'frame' wiper blade

i put some on my van when i bought it 18 months ago, and have just replaced them when it was serviced at the beginning of jan as they were just starting to get a bit smeary. i don't think that's bad value for money, particularly as i bought them when they were on offer at £6 a pair
