F-reg Mk II in red with body kit (not too sure re all the variants), similar to the one reported by Reverend Frog on 10 September, on Royal College Street NW1 (Camden), yesterday (31 Dec 11) as I was driving past in my C reg GTL 1.8 in bronze.

Saw an almost identical one which flashed me in Pembury (at the Tesco roundabout) just after I'd come off the A21 (southbound) a few months ago, probably August/September.

Re my post from 1st Jan 12 about red Mk2 in Camden, passed it again today, parked in a residents' bay on Royal College Street just south of Camden Road station, so presumably at home - no model badges to indicate GT/X/II, Storm or whatever, but licence number F898 BLC, looks very tidy, quite envious actually..

F plate and red, can only be Scala, GT or GTX. You could leave a note on the car asking if they want to sell, that's how I got my Storm, that was in Kensington!

Are you sure about the registration because when I ran it through the DVLAs online checker it came back "Vehicle details could not be found" :dunno:

It's definitely F898 but I think I transposed the final letters, think it should be BCL.

Interesting - out of curiosity how is it that you have access to the DVLA database?

That's useful, thanks. Cpt Custom, how can you tell it's a Scala?

Had a mini-convoy with a K plate white GTII on the A34 southbound from the Chilton interchange and down to Newbury, yesterday (Friday) from about 3:30 ish. It was being driven by a more mature gent, very friendly as we exchanged waves when we parted company at Newbury.

Various sites out there let you perform car checks, for example ...

https://www.mycarcheck.com/

Just enter in the registration you want to check and more often than not it'll confirm the make and model.

:beers:
