Hi all,
Been ages since I have been on here due to work (been ages since I have done anything to the scirocco due to the same!) and just sorting out some niggles.
My Mk1 passenger side window regulator is stuffed - I have never had a mk2, so does anyone know if they are the same? - I appreciate this is bordering on a tech question, but thought I might get a better answer in here (sorry mods if I should have put it in tech!)
I am guessing I have slightly more chance of getting my hands on a mk2 one than one from a Mk1

Mark 2 ones are different, but Mark 1 Golf ones are the same.

out of curiosity would anyone know if the back/rear window regulator be the same as front?? (5dr golf)

Are you sure Pete, i've just sourced a drivers one, yet have lots of mk1 golf bits, and to me, the rocco ones seem to be on a slant backwards...gutted if i'm wrong!?PeteGLi wrote:Mark 2 ones are different, but Mark 1 Golf ones are the same.
