Where can i get floor insulation for my mk1 scirocco?

Hi there,

I'm putting the interior back in my mk1 scirocco shortly and i can recall the insulation under the carpets falling to bits as i was taking it out.

Can anyone tell me the best place to get some new stuff, it needs to be like the original with a rubber surface to prevent water getting to the material section of it (if you see what i mean).

i used carpet underlay in my old golf as lots of diy places sell it. otherwise its a trip to the scrappies to butcher up some second hand insulation

You could try VW Heritage to see if VW Classic Parts have any original pieces.

Or Newton Commercial, who I think, give paid up members a discount.
