Rubber/Plastic Bump Strip

Post by jimmy h »

Mk 1 Scirocco,

The stuff that goes between both wheels, 3rd of the way up the flank of the car (from bottom) has a chrome strip inlay.

Does anyone know if this can be replaced with something similar? I'm not looking for perfection.
Mine are ok-ish, but the chrome is corroded and bubbling, I want to keep the car as close to original, but if I put mine back on it will let the car down.

Thanks in advance.

Try VW Classic parts, they may still have new ones available.
