Inner Sills (MK1)

Post by jimmy h »

Sills,

The bodyshop cut my outers off today, get this, It's very rotten on the inside too, weird eh! :shocking:

Does anyone know if replacement panels are available for this? I'm talking about the structure inside of the outer sill near (not which faces the interior area of the car/passenger compartment)

Is the Mk2 similar and are any panels available.

The bodyshop is offering fabricating but as we know time = money.

Thanks in advance. Jim

They are the same as the Mk1 Golf so might be worth looking for them instead of scirocco inner sills

The inner sills are tricky to track down, but you should be able to get hold of them through VW classic parts.

The alternative is to make your own. Have a look here, sills on page 2 & 3 http://www.sciroccoregisterforum.co.uk/ ... 5&start=15
