Post by Ashrocco »

I have the chase of buying a Weber 44 IDF complete with inlet manifold and air filter, are these any good? This should suit my engine right? Its off a Golf.

Height could be an issue. But i have no experience with the IDF webbers, only 32/34 downdraft and the side drafts.

also, bear in mind that it may be jetted for a 1.8 but you will need to get it tuned for your engine. it'll more than likely run okay, but to get the most out of it chances are it'll need to be jetted to suit your engine.

you might ave a problem with that manifold as it doesnt have the water cooling bit cast into it therefore you will have a hole in your water jacket left in the cyl head.

I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!
