Re: storm lower front panel
The front panels are the same - the Storm has an add-on fiberglass (?) spoiler.
Other models came with a two piece plastic "duckbill" spoiler.
Very early models came with a metal spoiler as part of the front panel.

If it's got tits or tyres it's trouble but I always go back for more.
Re: storm lower front panel
If you take off a Storm spoiler, you will have a number of holes visible from the fixing screws, the most noticeable of which are the ones just in front of the front wheel arch.

Can you still get the front spoiler for the GLS? I thought they were like hens teeth?

Re: storm lower front panel
Sorry to hijack the thread. I have removed the fibreglass spoiler from my Storm and have purchaed a genuine Mk1 Golf small spoiler and also a Gti duck bill type. Neither of the holes in these spoilers seem to line up with the holes in the front valance. Do I have the wrong parts or will I have to drill new holes in the metal panel? The spoilers look a bit short is this right?
