Killingworth, just up the road from me! What do you drive?

I have used a company called Heritage VW for the impossible to get hold of scrapper mouldings on the doors.

Give them a try really know their stuff

Seen a tailgate on Ebay, £20 I think.
Close to home though there is a decent tailgate on a MK2 that is sitting in VeeDubs in Gateshead, no rust, I know because I got the struts from it!
It is a silver/gold colour. Their number is 0191 4950366

If you ever need a hand with anything give me a shout, been around VW's for 25 years, and we're a small club so should help each other out, know a few local garages and a decent bodyshop in Newcastle.
I got my Storm back in Feb, and have virtually finished but I have the benefit of another car to drive about in.

Hello mate,

Never heard of MB Motorsport, any good? I have use a garage called Addington Motors in Walker for the last 20 years, the bloke that owns it has 35 years experience with VW/Audi, more of a mate now.

Would be good for a mini meet in the North East, as everything seems to be in the Midlands and the South.

Yes, I did notice the lack of door and bonnet on the Scirocco at VeeDubs, I noticed quite a bit 2 cars up trying to get the tailgate struts off in the howling wind!

Yes there is a ew other's in the North East, Tony in Stockton, Ben in Whitley Bay, and I think there is a bloke in Hartlepool. Probably more, we should just try to organise a meet up one Sunday, somewhere in the middle of everyone.
What does everyone else think from the North East? :)

Morning. Have you tried Vagcat? They list all the seals on there as I'm looking for some myself.
