How do I remove the top centre console?

Post by Sean »

As above,
I gather I have to remove the heater controls/knobs, and also remove the 2 screws from the cubby hole, but where do I go next? Ashtray / VDO gauge / stereo. are there any clips or screws? A walkthrough guide would be great if anyone knows how to do this :)

Once youve got the other ones you mentioned undone, there are 2 screws each side (possibly only 1 on the left, cant remember of the top of my head!) both are along the bottom edge, and one on each side is also the mounting screw for the under dash trays. as far as i remember, that's about it. the bit of wiring for the ash tray light and VDO gauge should be long enough for you to undo after the conole is mainly removed, and the stereo wiring isnt fixed to the console at all
