Alarm recommendations??

Post by seanr68 »

Can anyone recommend an alarm to fit to my Scirocco?
Ideally i want it to have a facility where i can add central locking to my car as it doesn't have it at the mo. Also, i would like it to have the option to fit "Microwave proximity sensor and anti jack up(tilt)sensors" at a later date.
Cheers

That's the best choice Sean, their flagship model.

Is there much point getting the proximity sensor thing? I intend getting the tilt sensor so no bugger can nick my wheels.

Hi Sean, personally I wouldn't and that's because if a group of kids walk near your car it will warn them and eventually set the alarm off. Most kids would love that and i've seen it happen! I think it depends where you park your car mostly, but it's not a good idea in my opinion. The alarm itself with tilt sensor is more than enough mate.
