As events conspired against me meaning i couldn't join you all for the fun this year, i thought i may as well get on with my latest tweak!

Nice! i was toying with the idea myself. what was it from and was it hard to match the tunnel?

it was from a Passat - a B5 i think. looks the same as a mk4 golf one from what i can tell

its not actually fixed into place yet, i just put it between the seats to see how it looked but found that it sits quite securly on its own. I've driven around with it in for a couple of days now, and it works fine for resting on, i just cant move it up and down without the base held in.

I'm just going to make a strap / bracket to go between the 2 inner seat runners, and put a suitibly modified leather gear gaitor around the bottom to make it look neat
