Does anybody know if the number plate lights are the same as any other VAG vehicles?
Need some for my list of MOT jobs and don't really want to have to buy anything else at the moment.
Cheers in advance
Ben

Re: Mk2 Number plate lights
I have bought them from GSF before but can't remember whether it was a Golf Mk2 or 3 which are the same. Take an old one in to GSF and they will match it.

Pretty much any old VAG car from what I've found.
I've picked up sets off an Audi 80, old Polo, Golfs.
Some of them, Audi 80 for example come with a shroud over the light, they still fit though.

Re: Mk2 Number plate lights
Yes i have a pair of Mk2 Polo ones without the black outer shrouds. Was able to use the inners rubbers and lenses. The condition can vary and it's a real rust trap on the Mk2 Scirocco. Once I paint the tailgate properly I'll be getting Bilt Hamber cavity wax spayed right in to that area and all cavities. Also used stainless screws.
